The New Year marks a new beginning, let us also start anew. On behalf of the  Chinese Embassy in Thailand, I would like to extend New Year greetings to the people of Thailand and friends from all walks of life who cared and supported the development of China-Thailand relations!

Over the past year, under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the Chinese people of all ethnic groups, worked in united and high spirits, achieved high-quality economic development, deepened reform and opening-up, and improved well-being and livelihood. We are taking firms steps towards the goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects.

The Governments of China and Thailand are committed to implementing the important consensus reached during President Xi Jinping’s visit to Thailand last year and Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin’s visit to China this year. Both sides are actively  building a China - Thailand community with a shared future for enhanced stability, prosperity and sustainability. The increased exchanges in politics, economy, trade, and culture between China and Thailand enrich the connotation of “China and Thailand are one family” in the new era.

In a world of turmoil and transformation, peace and development is facing complex challenges. The continued development of China-Thailand relations is in the fundamental interests of our two peoples and will inject strong positive energy into the peace and development of the region and beyond. As we look ahead to the new year, China is willing to collaborate closely with Thailand. Together, we will comprehensively advance the building of a community with a shared, jointly safeguard regional peace, stability and development, and create a promising future for China-Thailand relations and the Asia-Pacific region.
